ORIGINAL / MUTATION
Choose the source form on the left and the destination form on the right. Core kick and rim positions change first.
A rule-based two-bar reggae pattern transformer that moves a riddim between ONE DROP, ROCKERS, STEPPERS, EARLY DIGITAL, ROOTS and UK DUB forms.
This is not a random step scatterer. It places the target kick and rim core first, then varies hats, percussion, bass, skank and bubble according to amount and seed. Lock any track that must stay unchanged.

Amount controls how strongly supporting tracks change. The same seed repeats the result, and key affects playback and MIDI.
A locked track bypasses mutation. Use it to preserve the bass, kick or any defining part.
Compare both versions, then send AFTER back to BEFORE when you want another mutation pass.
Start from ONE DROP and choose ROCKERS to hear the added first-beat kick around the retained drop.
Choose UK DUB around fifty-five percent and leave hats and percussion unlocked to open more space.
Lock BASS and RIM, choose STRIPPED DUB and lower the amount if too much disappears.
MIDI exports the AFTER version. JSON stores BEFORE, AFTER, locks, amount, seed and key. RIDDIM SEQUENCER JSON can also be loaded as the source.
Start from one preset or one pattern, then adjust only the part you can hear changing.
